If you set a time and you haven't fallen asleep yet, you can choose to either disable Sleep Timer or add more time to the countdown. One way to tell if the feature is activated is by the moon icon that appears next to the playback controls. If you're quick to fall asleep, choose End of track or End of episode. There are six increments to choose from, between five minutes and an hour. Scroll down and select Sleep Timer from the list of options that appear.If you're listening to a podcast, tap the little moon icon in the bottom-right corner. You can choose to have the music go for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, or until the end of the track. Select how long you want your tunes to play. If you're listening to music, tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen. For music, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and scroll to the bottom of the menu where you can tap on the Sleep Timer option. Select the "now playing" screen so that the artwork and playback controls are front and centre.Start playing your music or podcast of choice.Launch the Spotify app on your âiPhoneâ or âiPadâ.If you have downloaded the update already, follow these steps to turn on Sleep Timer: The feature should be available worldwide to all users as of today, but it could take some time for the update to appear in the App Store for everyone so if you don't see the function in the Spotify app, check back later in the day, by which time the rollout should have hopefully reached you. As per Engadget, Spotify users on iPhone and iPad devices will now be able to enjoy the feature once the app is updated to the latest version.
